What is an electric clutch?
Electric clutch, also known as automatic clutch, is an advanced system in cars, whose main function is to eliminate the need for manual clutching by the driver. Using electronic and mechanical technologies, this system automatically engages the clutch and allows the driver to change gears without pressing the clutch pedal. Automatic clutch is especially used in gear cars and provides an experience similar to automatic cars for drivers.
Installing these clutches on Iranian cars that use a wire clutch is considered better and more suitable than installing them on Chinese cars that benefit from a hydraulic clutch system. A wire clutch is a system in which the clutch pedal is connected by a wire to the lever connected to the gear and enables gear shifting. In hydraulic clutches, however, it moves the operation of the clutch plate.
The main components of the automatic clutch
The electric clutch consists of several main parts, the coordination between these parts ensures the correct operation of the system:

Electromechanical System:
This system includes an electric motor and cables connected to the clutch pedal, which is responsible for transmitting power and controlling the clutch function.
Sensors and electronic board:
Sensors detect gear position and clutch pressure and send the information to the electronic board. The electronic board processes this information and sends the necessary commands to the electric motor.
Liegroup motor:
By receiving commands from the electronic board, this engine precisely controls the clutch cable and simulates the performance of the clutch.
How the electric clutch function
The electric clutch is designed to perform the function of the driver's foot automatically. When the driver changes gear, the sensors detect the gear position and the automatic clutch system automatically engages and then releases the clutch. This process includes the following steps:
gear recognition:
The sensors detect the position of the gear and inform the electronic board.

Grab the clutch: The electric motor pulls the clutch cable and engages the clutch
Release the clutch: After gear shifting, the engine slowly releases the cable to return the clutch to its original position.

One of the main components of any vehicle is its clutch system. As you know, gearboxes are made in two ways, manual and automatic. Today, by using an electric clutch, you can somehow benefit from a combination of the capabilities of both gearboxes. The electric clutch saves you from holding the clutch with your foot and you only need to change the gear manually.
